Every week we take one topic from your life (your job, your Korea trip, dinner with your partner’s family) and turn it into the key sentences you will actually say or hear.
Every day you get tasks on your phone: you listen to my audio and speak back, you send me a recording, you practice the key vocabulary and the key sentences. I send back the fixes, in writing and as audio in my voice.
Each day trains the same sentences a different way. The ones you struggle with get repeated until they come out automatic.
Once a week we meet 1-on-1 on Zoom and role-play the real situation. I play the shop owner, you walk in. Whatever breaks goes into next week’s practice and repetition. We don’t leave anything behind.

And honestly: time is rarely the real problem. The little decisions around picking what and how to study are.

How can the same mentorship fit different levels? There is no curriculum to fit into. Every sentence is built from your life, at your level, and we move at your speed. A student one level below you is simply training different sentences.
One exception: if you are starting from absolute zero, this is not a fit (yet). Start in my free community — the challenges and shadowing there are made for you. Come back when you understand more than you can say. You will recognize the feeling.
BOOK A CALL →Not “fluent.” Nobody honest sells you fluent in 90 days, and it also really depends on your starting level. If somebody is 99% fluent, joins, and becomes fluent after 3 months — should I praise that as a success?

BOOK A CALL →Someone bumps your shoulder, they say 죄송합니다 (I’m sorry), and 괜찮아요 (it’s okay) comes out of your mouth easily. Right?
Why? 1) Repetition. 2) Relevancy.
1) If you repeat one sentence 100 times every day for a week, you will be able to say it automatically. I have never seen someone where it’s not the case. Sure, some students take less time compared to others. But there are thousands of students that do zero repetitions. Which one do you want to be?
2) If a sentence or word is completely unrelated to you, you will not invest effort to learn it, so you will forget it. That’s why we only practice topics relevant to your life.
BOOK A CALL →If you are happy with your progress and with your tutor or classes: DON’T JOIN. This is only for people that are still freezing with their speaking.
But in short: in a group of 10 you maybe get 10% attention. A tutor sees you once a week with one good hour of Korean. Then six days of silence, nobody corrects you, and nothing gets repeated enough to stick. One of my students came from exactly this (good tutor, good materials) and told me around 90% of it never stuck — watch the interview with Daniella.
The mentorship is the opposite way. Fewer sentences, from your real life, repeated every single day multiple times with corrections following. The weekly call is where we prove they stick and find the challenges. The work happens outside the call.
And to be transparent: I am not against tutors and not against group classes. THEY WORK. I did them myself.

You can repeat Korean wrong five hundred times and the app will happily let you. Nobody tells you about the one small sound that makes you hard to understand. So speaking never starts working, and you conclude something is wrong with you.
Nothing is wrong with you. Apps train input. This trains output.

When a sentence breaks, I stop you, fix it, and we run it again until it comes out clean. Whatever still does not come out smoothly goes into next week’s practice. On one recent call that was 12 sentences.

The plan is yours alone. If a week goes sideways, we slow down and your struggle sentences carry forward into next week until they are automatic. Nothing is skipped. You never start over.
The only thing I ask: do not disappear. A 5-minute day beats a zero day, and the time it takes to tell me “this week is crazy” could have been used to send in the recording for the day.
And here is the thing: I am on your team. I will not leave you by yourself.
